The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Chapter 120 - No Exclusivity

Long Jie was peacefully sipping on his tea when Zhenyi bolted through the door, her eyes burning with apparent anger. It had been ages since Long Jie confronted an angry Zhenyi to the extent of killing anyone. The last time it was when she had exploded their base and pointed her gun at him and Shaoming.

She took the cup of tea from his hand and placed it at the table. She folded her arms on her chest as she asked, "What do you think you\'re doing?"

Long Jie didn\'t bother to glance at his furious wife, picked up the cup of tea again, and took a sip as he said, " As you can see enjoying a cup of tea. Want to join?"

He even brought the cup close to her but she just glared at him.

"Screw you."

"You already did," he said and a devilish smirk playing on his lips.

He placed the cup on the table, standing a little close to her, and brought his lips even closer to her ears as he whispered, "If you wish to screw more, you just have to use the words, wife."

"You wish!" She scoffed. "Who do you think you are? And who permitted you to move my stuff back to your room?"

Yesterday, Zhenyi ordered the servants to move her stuff to a separate room for she didn\'t wish to share a bed or a room with her husband. But today, when she returned from visiting Sam in the hospital, she found her new room bare and blank, not even the bloody bed was in the room and it didn\'t take a genius to guess that it was orchestrated by her husband.

\'Damm you, Long Jie.\'

"I\'m your husband if you don\'t remember. And who permitted to move back my wife\'s stuff to OUR room?" He lifted her chin up to look at him. These burning eyes of hers were always his weakness and he always wished to infuriate her to see those burning eyes every day. " It is undoubtedly your husband who asked to move it back to where it actually belongs and I don\'t think I need anyone\'s permission given you have my rings on your finger."

She removed his hands from her chin and glared at him, " Sorry did I hear the word \'husband\'? Let me remind you if you forget to remember a simple fact, we were never a real couple. We were always two different parties who signed an agreement."

"Is it what you think, Wife? " Frustration flashed across his features. " Two parties bound by an agreement?"

"It\'s what I\'m very well aware of, Mr. Long. Two parties, two people bound by an undesirable pact."

Did he forget he never wished to marry her? He wanted the position of head of the family and got it. Now, what was her use in the whole marriage charade!

She was as useful as a coconut shell.

"Very well." Long Jie chuckled to himself as he stepped back.

"Mrs. Xie!" Long Jie called the housekeeper.

"Young master?"

"Mrs. Xie, please make sure your mistress doesn\'t leave her REAL room. She is not permitted to move to any other room in the mansion either." Long Jie announced as a matter of fact.

Zhenyi stared at him but didn\'t speak in front of Mrs. Xie.

Once Mrs. Xie left Long Jie spoke, "Remember the first clause of the agreement \'you have to standby me in my every decision. You just can\'t go against me in front of my family.\' My family might not be living under the same roof but they have their eyes on us everywhere."

She wanted to follow the bloody contract. She would damm well get it. He would be quoting the contract everywhere in his favor.

A shiver of hurt rolled through her. She tried to pretend it wasn\'t at the thought of Long Jie agreeing to strictly follow the agreement and end whatever was between them.

Nope.

Didn\'t matter at all.

Shouldn\'t matter at all.

She nodded.

He wanted to punch the wall behind her and infuse some senses into her brain but no she was as stubborn as him and there was nothing he could have done to change her mind.

Well, there was but he couldn\'t do it. At least not now.

"Your room it is," She said to no one in particular.

Long Jie wanted to correct her but he stopped himself.

"One more thing -- let\'s exclude the exclusivity of our relationship. There is no need to abide by this term anymore especially when you won\'t be getting any heir before the fixed period."

They had already fixed that there wouldn\'t be any child in the equation for the next three years. Since they were heeding by the contract now, Sex was out of the question.

"What do you say?" He asked her as he stood straight up, his eyes meeting hers. His face was void of any expression as his jaw hardened.

She turned around to leave the room when he grabbed his shoulders and made her look at him and answer his question.

"What the hell you uttered?" He asked again. He inhaled sharply and narrowed his eyes at her. Zhenyi glared at him in equal intensity, an unspoken war ranging between two of them through their eyes.

Here she was again. The silent Zhenyi. If she wanted, she could be as silent as a bloody ghost. But now she has to understand that he needed words not her damm silence because it was making the matter worse than it already was.

"Repeat the hell you said, Zhenyi."

Instead of replying Zhenyi was standing tall in defiance, her chin raised as if she was the Queen of a kingdom.

"You heard me loud and clear," the queen Zhenyi finally graced him with words.
