Lu Li did not return immediately; he still lacked at least three more of those Stones that lowered requirements.

The Felstriker, the other two T1 equipment, the Deathlord’s Mantle and the emblem from before each required one stone. However, he only had two in his possession right now.

Lu Li tried to think of more ways to acquire them.

Shipwrecks would be a little difficult. He knew of five shipwrecks, and he had just gone to one of them.

This meant that there were four more. Two of these were teeming with level 60 monsters, so Lu Li did not dare to try his luck. Of the remaining two, one of them was near Darkshore, and the other was near Stranglethorn Vale. However, these had already been explored by other players since the monster levels were much lower. Many people camped at the chests there, waiting for them to refresh.

These chests did not refresh with set times, and could vary from an instant to a few days.

As for those with small chests, Lu Li did not want to waste his time.

He took his little boat and returned to the shore, then summoned a mount and raced along towards Darkshore. After arriving there, he examined the levels of the players training on the shores. He then started to move towards a group with a special insignia on their clothes.

This was the mercenary group in the Spire and was one of the biggest in the country.

In his previous life, Lu Li had encountered this group as well. The leader of this group was mainly in the business of farming gold, ore, leather and potions. There were tens of thousands of people who were loyal to this flag dispersed in various places. Boasting such an army was a testament to their extreme wealth.

This shipwreck was likely in their control.

Lu Li stopped his mount and gave them greetings.

“Hey there, I have a question for you guys.”

“Who are you?” The power-levellers looked at the Headless Knight mount that Lu Li was on and did not dare to cause any trouble. In Dawn, people who owned mounts like these were rare.

“My identity is not important. I have money,” Lu Li said, assuming the identity of a wealthy man.

“I’m in charge here. How can I help you? Feel free to request anything,” a male Mage offered, as he stored away his staff. The other people went back to killing monsters. The monsters here were only level 20-30, so Lu Li deducted that the level of these people was not high.

“I want Stones that lower level requirements,” Lu Li instantly said.

“Sorry, we cannot help you.” The Mage was disappointed; he had seen that this exchange had gone awry already.

“Why? I know you have these items,” Lu Li chuckled. He knew they were lying, because mercenary groups like these often had items that they would keep until the price inflated.

This Stone was clearly an item that would inflate to a terrifyingly high price later.

There was a demand for these stones, but the mercenary groups like these held onto them so that the prices would continue.

The Mage hesitated, then recovered from his initial surprise and said, “We really don’t have the item that you’re asking for. If we did, we would definitely do a trade with you, since we’re business people after all. We can’t help you if you don’t believe our words. Try looking for it in the market; you might find some there.”

“I’ll use equipment to trade with you. How about that?” Lu Li suggested.

“Um, I’m sorry...” the Mage apologized, then turned and began to leave.

“Are you sure you don’t even want to look at the equipment? These are Voodoo equips. Your group has no interest at all?” Lu Li asked as he displayed the equipment in such a way that they could freely examine it.

Big Voodoo Cloak (Gold) 3 stars.

Big Voodoo Mask (Gold) 3 stars.

Big Voodoo Shoulder Plate (Gold) 3 stars.

Big Voodoo Breastplate (Gold) 3 stars.

The surrounding players took a deep breath. If Lu Li had only brought out one piece, they would not have had such a reaction. They were members of a mercenary group, so they would have already seen these things.

However, to complete the entire set was no easy task at all.

Furthermore, Lu Li had excellent or elite quality items. An ordinary player might not have even seen an Elite equipment before, let alone a Gold grade.

However, the enhancement of 3 stars was what had impressed them the most.

How wealthy was this guy? It was such a waste, spending enhancement stones on these!

These level 40 equips were extremely strong!

Not even the level 40-50 Elite Squads of major guilds donned equipment of this level. These four items, when worn, would instantly raise their strength by a tremendous amount.

“How about it? Interested?” Lu Li asked.

Lu Li had already planned to scrap the Voodoo set anyway. If he could receive what he wanted in return for these, he would be happy. As for placing it in the guild vault for the members, he was not that generous. He did not mind giving equipment like this to his members, but not at the cost of his own personal gains.

“How much? the Mage asked as he swallowed his saliva.

Although the Stones were rare, a 3-star full equipment set was just as valuable.

“Money?” Lu Li chuckled, “Sorry, do I look like I lack money?”

“No, not at all.”

The Mage bitterly smiled and shook his head. Lu Li was a person that owned a Headless Knight mount, so there was no way that he was lacking money at all.

“I only want the Stones, or a Darkmoon Card with Twisting Nether as its properties – if you guys have them, that is,” Lu Li requested boldly. After all, he knew better than anyone of the difficulty of obtaining this set of equipment. If it was not for the First Clear and pieces from Water Fairy, even he would find it difficult.

Voodoo equips were also extremely precious in his previous life.

“Wait a minute. I’ll ask my superiors to talk to you.”

The Mage was only in charge of this small area, so he was not in the place to decide the exchanges of such items, even if he had them in his storage.

His superior came quickly. He was a Thief player that was just shy of level 50 and rode atop an ugly grey horse.

“I’m Qian Yu, the vice-leader of the Spire Mercenaries. I heard that you have a full set of 3-star Big Voodoo equipment. Is that true?”

“Of course.”

“How do you wish to trade?”

“5 8% Transmuting Stones that lower level requirement.” Lu Li did not think that he was being harsh at all.

“****! Sorry, but that’s not possible,” Qian Yu said, then added, “We already don’t have many 8% stones, let alone five! Even four pieces of 3-starred equipment are not worth that much. After all, they are only level 40.”

“A Stone can only be used once, but equipment can be used continuously. Your organisation can use this set to power level players from level 40 to 50.”

Lu Li was not a person that could be easily shut down. He knew how to focus on the important points.

For an organisation like this, the main selling point of equipment like this was its longevity, just like Lu Li had said.
