Chapter 12 Devil's Whisper
"You remember the bet, right Ms.Rachel?" Chris asked coldly.
"I-I..." Rachel had many things left to say, that Chris might have taken a loan or he might have been using all his life savings... but under his cold serious eyes... she couldn\'t say a thing.
"I-I am sorry for my earlier actions, I was wrong." gritting her teeth she admitted.
"Hmm? I think there was something like kneeling mentioned too. Just saying." Chris placed his hand on his chin and wondered.
\'This motherf**!\' Rachel cursed in her mind upon hearing his words and gritted her teeth strongly.
She felt pathetic and ashamed of losing the bet and didn\'t want to kneel, but alas, Chris wasn\'t going to let her go... or will he?
"... fine," With a very pitiful look on her face, she said fine and slowly got up from her seat looking at Chris with puppy eyes.
After all, Rachel although with her nasty personality was quite hot and gave kinda sexy vibes, but her puppy look wasn\'t enough to move Chris who already fell in love with Aria.
"Wait wait, I didn\'t ask you to kneel though. I just said that kneeling was mentioned." Chris smiled at Rachel, actually, he wasn\'t going to let her go and humiliate the b*tch that dared to demean him.
Why didn\'t he? Simply because he didn\'t want to do it in front of Aria, also earn some brownie points from her hehe.
"I- see." Rachel tried really hard to keep her anger down and politely smiled at Chris, tho her smile looked pretty creepy and awkward to others.
Chris ignored her and broke through the crowd to walk towards Aria, "I am going to change my clothes," He said but then got a bit shy and broke the eye contact, "I-If you are free, w-would you like to join me for the rest of shopping??"
"Uhh..." Aria got a bit flustered, her rosy cheeks becoming redder and she softly murmured, "Okay..."
"Great! Please wait here for me." Chris smiled in pure joy and excitedly went to pick a set of clothes from the new ones.
"This is good enough?" Chris muttered to himself looking at his reflection in the trial room, He was dressed from top to bottom in black with a black shirt, black slim-fit trousers, and a classy blazer to top it off.
His hazel eyes looked peaceful and friendly, his black outfit contrasting with his white smooth skin. His sharp jawline, thin brows, and slick pair of lips were absolutely lady-killer.
The hairstyle was still a bit messy, but that had its own charm.
After being satisfied by his looks, Chris beamed a smile and walked out of the trial room.
*thud* A cashier dropped her scanning device seeing Chris\'s new look, he had just changed his clothes but...
If he looked like a poor country bumpkin earlier, now he looked like those suave rich 2nd generations.
Chris was happy from their shocked reactions but the reaction he wanted wasn\'t here, Aria was nowhere to be found!
\'I guess she just agreed on the surface...\' Chris was very disheartened as Aria was actually the 1st girl in his life he actually felt an attraction to...
"Uhm, did Miss Aria say anything?" Just to satisfy his ego, Chris asked a helping staff but before she could reply...
*click*
The manager\'s office opened with a click and a young woman walked out wearing a cute sky blue sundress, her dress could be called just decent and casual but on her?
That \'casual\' dress complemented her near-perfect curves as she walked, her brown hair gently swayed in the air, and her emerald eyes pure, she looked just like a clueless fairy that had descended upon us mortals.
But, just as Chris was shocked to see Aria, so was she! She had seen that Chris was quite handsome and had a pretty decent build of a good tall height.
However, his charm in this outfit was much greater with no more dirty clothes that were a turn-off for girls.
"You look stunning, Miss Aria. I didn\'t expect you were going to change your clothes too." Chris remarked as soon as Aria walked near to him.
"You look way better, your whole aura has somehow changed with your clothes." Aria smiled back and flattered, "Also, I told you to drop the Miss, call me Aria."
"It\'s a bit hard for me to directly go to Aria, but I will try." Chris scratched his head and chuckled nervously.
"Anyways, let\'s go." Chris quickly changed the subject and said to one staff to keep onto the clothes he bought right now.
"What do you want to buy first?" Aria asked, walking next to him just roaming on the ground floor of Glorr Mall.
"Take a good look at me. What am I missing?" Chris intentionally paused in between and requested.
" Uhmm... Watch. and also sunglasses if you like to." Aria looked at him and suggested.
"Okie sounds great. lead the way, your grace."
"Good, follow behind me." Aria giggled and led him to a nice watch shop and then sunglasses and then accessories and.... many more places.
"Thank you very much for your time... Aria." Chris finally spoke to her without the Miss and she was pretty surprised,
Well, they have been together for the last 4 hours, and it was obvious they will become more casual and relaxed.
"A-ah, Yeah, don\'t worry about that." She waved her hand and blushed, "Anything else you like to buy?"
"Yes, one last thing." Chris looked into her eyes and spoke in a very soft, seductive tone.
"W-What?" Aria\'s heart began beating fast and she gulped looking into his hazel eyes.
"A coffee," Chris spoke in the same tone and a small smile on his face.
"W-What??" Aria\'s face was confused... then she began to heat up... then by the time she managed to open her mouth again, she was blushing beet red. "O-Ok."
"Hehe, sweet." Chris\'s smile grew wider and he dropped his seductive mode, going back to the friendly and normal Chris.
"You got some DID or something..." Aria murmured seeing his sudden nature change, one second he was normal and the next second he was like a seducing demon with its devil\'s whisper.
"Haha, nope, let\'s go! I know a nice coffee shop." Chris shrugged her question off, held her arm, and began to pull her in a direction.
