Chapter 332 Luck

\'This aura-type sub-skill is more useful than I think,\' Raydon pondered, studying the sub-skill description in the title panel.

Having previously only tested it at the family mansion, this was the first time Raydon was employing it against an enemy, and the results were quite satisfying.

It was unknown how effective the skill would be against high-ranking item holders; however, the fact that it was able to stop E-Rank lion men from killing the Region Boss was evidence that it was very useful.

\'And also these,\' Raydon thought, shifting his gaze to the group of winged black cats seated quietly behind him, their unwavering eyes fixed upon him.

In the midst of Raydon\'s frantic pursuit of this location with all of his strength, he caught a glimpse of these cats sailing through the air. After recognizing that they were his enemies, he made the decision to test the strength of his Presence Aura on them in order to avoid an unnecessary confrontation.

And even he was taken aback by the outcome.

After using his subskill, these cats, which were most likely the monsters with peak F-Rank power, felt afraid of Raydon\'s presence as soon as they sensed him, and they started to run away instead of approaching him. However, once Raydon understood that the cats were not a threat, he stopped viewing them as enemies, and as a result, the subskill\'s impact changed and started to influence them as allies.

The result was that the cats were now sitting calmly and looking intently at Raydon, waiting for his commands.

\'This sub-skill might prove even more valuable than I initially thought,\' Raydon contemplated, redirecting his attention to the sky. There were only a few Arora\'s crows left, and they were hovering in place, barely moving other than the steady beating of their wings.

"Come down," Raydon ordered, raising his hand and fixing a stern gaze upon the crows, seeking to test his theory.

And unbelievably, all the crows slowly descended from the sky and landed on the ground without hesitation, affirming Raydon\'s theory.

"Good," Raydon chuckled, revealing his bloodstained teeth.

However, he needed further confirmation, so he shifted his attention to the cats belonging to the enemy team, which had been engaged in a fierce battle with the crows moments ago.

Since the overwhelming pressure of Raydon\'s presence had descended upon the area, these cats had frozen in fear, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. But now, as Raydon regarded them with a newfound perception, he began to see them as potential allies.

As this change took effect, the cats\' trembling subsided, and within seconds, they raised their heads and gazed at Raydon with curious eyes. They eventually worked up the nerve to approach him, moving cautiously but in a friendly manner and accompanying their meows with soft purrs.

"Hahahahahah, awesome!" Raydon burst into laughter, fueled by the limited energy remaining in his exhausted and battered body.

The fact that he had just been awarded a free cat battalion was the primary source of his happiness.

The power of his Presence Aura proved to be a formidable command-type skill, enabling him to influence simple-minded monsters with certain power ranks and bend them to his will.

Furthermore, if this sub-skill could exert its effect on E-Rank mobs as well, the advantages for Raydon would be immeasurable.

In the meantime, Raydon was pleased to reflect on how useful his sub-skill was, whereas the red-robed man\'s thoughts were consumed by an increased level of terror and shock.

\'How could I lose connection with all my spirit soldiers like this? \' The red-robed man thought, his body trembling like a leaf caught in the wind.

The fact that his spirit bond had been severed with the winged cats he had sent earlier was shocking enough, but now the same phenomenon occurred right in front of his eyes, causing him to lose contact with hundreds of warrior spirit beasts and causing him to feel utterly helpless.

Even more unbelievable was the fact that the entity that was responsible for this did not appear to use any skills, as it was able to easily subjugate all of the spirit beasts in a matter of seconds.

\'What in the world have we encountered in an E-Rank match? \' The red-robed lion man surrendered himself to the realization that someone of this caliber should not be in an E-Rank match. The loss of his spirit beasts no longer mattered to him. All he desired now was to swiftly end this match and escape from the presence of this thing.

Even though they were afraid to look up, the other lion men were aware of what was going on around them.

They had been taken aback by the peculiar actions of the red-robed lion man\'s spirit beasts, and their greatest concern was that this entity would also coerce them into submission in the same manner as it had done with the beasts.

Fortunately, their fears did not materialize, as Raydon\'s sub-skill had not yet attained the level of control required to subjugate them in the same manner.

\'\'Rusty Chain. \'\'

Since Raydon had no time to wait for his body to heal, he tapped into the last remnants of his mana to activate his attack-type skill.

Initially, he had intended to utilize the spirit beasts for his attack, but soon realized that he couldn\'t issue them direct orders. Or, at the very least, he discovered that they didn\'t comprehend his commands.

Raydon was successful in making all of the spirit beasts obey him, but he lacked a control-type skill that would allow him to exercise command over them and direct their actions. Alternatively, he could teach all of the spirit beasts and instruct them in basic commands through the process of training.

But with no opportunities or time for alternative solutions, Raydon was left with no choice but to personally eliminate the lion men, who had already lost their will to fight, using his worn-out body.

"At least the Region Boss doesn\'t seem to have any intention of attacking at the moment. I can deal with it later," Raydon thought, briefly glancing at the disintegrated and mangled body of the Region Boss. It appeared to be on its last legs, as it prioritized regeneration over continuing to launch attacks.

Raydon, relieved that the Region Boss did not present an immediate threat, concentrated his attention on the closest lion man while wielding the chain in his hand that was ablaze with black flames. He then swung his chain towards his neck.

\'\'Aaghh. \'\'

As Raydon\'s scalding-hot chain tightened its grip around the lion man\'s neck, the latter let out a scream of agony as it caused him a brief but excruciating amount of pain. The lion man\'s cries came to an abrupt end in the blink of an eye, just as flames engulfed his neck and head, putting an end to his life as quickly as they had begun.

[Lv.24 Leonyth (E-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 4800 experience points.]

[Bonus: You gained 840 experiences.]

As Raydon counted up the experience points he had acquired, he could not help but break out in a broad grin.
